Dear friends and family,

We've now been in LA for a little over 24 hours.
Some students were in class at 8:00 a.m. today and some
had the day off. But likely, most of our minds were still in Korea.
We have much processing to do amidst a very busy few weeks.
Your prayers for us as we adjust will be much appreciated.

I think only the days and weeks ahead will reveal what we have really taken away from this trip, but I would not be surprised if all of us came to the same conclusion, that we have been permanently changed. Perhaps: some will be more hospitable, some will be more generous, some will be more adventurous, some will bask in the light of God's love, some will be more eager to share the gospel, some will trust that God provides in all things especially when the circumstances look impossible,  ...or perhaps change in a little or lot of all of those areas and "live rejoicing everyday" (from our song O Happy Day).

I am praising God for doing a marvelous and miraculous work in and with us, not the least of which was zero drama with 35 college singers travelling together for 13 days. We all learned about submission. That is a marvelous and miraculous event in an of itself :) In all seriousness, we have seen God in new ways and been a part of something so far greater than ourselves. What a GREAT and awesome work He did.

Thank you for all of your prayers and interest. We know that we rode on the wings of hundreds, maybe thousands of prayers.

Much love from myself and the Chorale to you all!

  1. How we praise the God of the Universe, who planned this trip months ago... 'for such a time as this'! His love for the peoples of the world is unfathomable!! and He chose to use YOU ALL as His ambassadors of grace, hope & comfort. WoW. We, as your 'prayer fan club', rejoice with gratitude & burst with pride at the stories & pictures of how God work IN & THRU each one of you. How does He do all that??? He is soooo amazing!! "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work with in us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." (eph 3.20+21) {one thankful mom+dad from Minnesota}
